چکیده
Temperatures obtained from Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry (SABER) instrument on board Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energetics Dynamics (TIMED) satellite during period 2003 to 2019 are analysed obtain trends in region 50°S 50°N method Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD). This is used remove long-term oscillations data accurately estimate linear trends. The novelty current study dividing entire into sub-regions 5° latitude and 10° longitude investigate associated longitudinal variability. shows that global middle atmosphere, including mesopause stratopause, cooling as a whole. In stratosphere lower mesosphere observed ?0.5 K/decade upper mesosphere, increase ?1.0 K/decade. Mesopause temperatures Southern Hemisphere stratopause Northern showing stronger comparison other hemisphere. Over tropical subtropical regions, trend over Indian Ocean Asian while symmetric around equator Pacific Atlantic Oceans. Two important results present follows: (1) A warming trend, reaching 2.5 K/decade, 77 km Equator adjoining latitudes, which attributed processes leading mesospheric semi-annual oscillation (MSAO). (2) Anomalous (SIO) longitudes. Temperature large negative ranging ?1 ?2 SIO (SPO) (SAO) lying same latitudinal band small positive, values 1 It envisaged recent accelerated probably responsible for above.

Long-term spatial and temporal variability of ambient carbon monoxide in Urmia, Iran
One of the pillars of epidemiologic research on the long-term health effects of air pollution is to estimate the chronic exposures over space and time. In this study, we aimed to measure the intra-urban ambient carbon monoxide (CO) concentrations within Urmia city in Iran, and to build a model within the geographic information system (GIS) to estimate the annual and seasonal means anywhere with...

A new publication by NOAA (US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) claims to have removed the previously evident discrepancies between mean global temperature anomalies measured on the surface and those measured in the lower troposphere. It claims that a combination of attention to inaccuracies and the use of linear regression equations on selected climate sequences have removed the...

[1] Increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases are expected on theoretical grounds to lead to a cooling of the upper atmosphere. Due to the close thermal coupling of the neutral and ionized components of the upper atmosphere the effects of this cooling are also expected to be seen in the ionospheric ion temperature. Long-term satellite observations of neutral density show a trend consistent ...
متن کاملSpatial and Temporal Variability and Long-Term Trends in Skew Surges Globally
Storm surges and the resulting extreme high sea levels are among the most dangerous natural disasters and are responsible for widespread social, economic and environmental consequences. Using a set of 220 tide gauges, this paper investigates the temporal variations in storm surges around the world and the spatial coherence of its variability. We compare results derived from two parameters used ...
